Deputy Chief Minister Shri Nitinbhai Patel ji started Vahli Dikri Yojana by allocating Rs 133 crore for this scheme. Under this scheme, the first two children of poor families who are girls. On attaining the age of 18 years, Rs 1 lakh will be provided for marriage or higher education.

Friends, you will be sad to know that 30% of girls in Gujarat state leave school before reaching class 10th. Which is a matter of concern. And 57% of girls drop out of school before reaching Inter. Thinking about this, the Gujarat government started Vahli Dikri yojana. and other states based on girl child incentive schemes like in Rajasthan (Rajshree Yojna), Haryana (Ladli Yojna), Karnataka (Bhagyashree Yojna), Maharashtra (Majli Kanya Bhagyashree Yojana), West Bengal (Balika Protsahan Yojana) and Madhya Pradesh (Ladli Laxmi Scheme) etc. This scheme was decided in this article, we are providing you all the information related to Gujarat Vahli Dikri Yojna.

Amount to be received in Vahali Dikri Yojana 2021

• First Enrollment in Class I: Rs 4,000
• Second Enrollment in Class 9th: Rs 6,000
• On attaining the age of 18 years: Rs 1,00,000
